Meet the Team

Jason joined Tall Trees Talent in 2025 and has over a decade of experience in executive recruiting, supporting clients across oil and gas, energy, manufacturing and related industrial markets. He recruits across a range of functions, including sales, operations, engineering, finance and accounting, from experienced individual contributors through senior leadership. He is known for his relationship-driven approach, serving as a trusted advisor to candidates and a strategic business partner to his clients. His focus is always on delivering tailored hiring solutions that align with long-term organizational goals.

Prior to transitioning into recruiting in 2011, Jason spent nine years in industry roles across operational analysis, audit and corporate treasury. This first-hand experience gives him a practical understanding of the functions he now recruits for, adding credibility and insight to every search.

A native Houstonian, Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from Texas State University in San Marcos.

Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his two sons, who are active in baseball and soccer. When not on the sidelines, Jason can often be found tackling woodworking and home remodeling projects.

Robert joined Tall Trees Talent in 2025 as a Researcher, supporting 360 recruitment and market intelligence across the energy and energy-adjacent industries. He is recognized for his proactive approach, strong research capabilities and commitment to building meaningful professional relationships.

Prior to joining the team, Robert interned at The Energists, the parent company of Tall Trees Talent. He also completed internships with commercial, industrial and residential real estate organizations, giving him exposure to market analysis, client-focused environments and business operations.

A Scotsman who has lived internationally throughout his education, Robert holds a BSc (Hons) in Planning & Real Estate from the University of Manchester, accredited by both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).

Outside of work, Robert enjoys deepwater fishing, precision rifle shooting, hiking and socializing around the city.

Terraka joined Tall Trees Talent in 2026, bringing a strong background in talent acquisition and relationship management. She specializes in full-cycle recruiting and talent strategy, partnering with clients and candidates to create meaningful, long-term matches.

Her experience includes sourcing, interviewing, pipeline development, university recruiting and hiring across a variety of industries and functions. She is known for her relationship-driven approach and commitment to delivering exceptional candidate experience.

Terraka holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Human Resources from Alabama A&M University and maintains her Professional Recruiter Certification (PRC).

Outside of work, Terraka enjoys spending time with her son, family and friends, planning memorable events and continuing to grow her expertise in talent acquisition and professional development.
